Summer Reading 2011
Summer Reading is quickly approaching!! Sign up is June 2nd – June 11 with the programs starting on the 13th of June! The theme this year is “A Midsummer’s Knights Read” and we have activities for all ages! Come on in and we will get you all signed up and ready to go!!
January Storytime
Filger Library will be having pre-school storytime on Thursday, January 20th from 10:00 to 11:00 am. We will be reading stories that have to do with snow/winter. Hopefully, there will still be enough white stuff on the ground that we can bring some inside and have some hands on fun! Younger siblings are more than welcome to join in the fun!
Shoutbomb service now available
With the library’s new Shoutbomb text messaging service, partons can use their cell phones to recieve text notices abot overdue items, holds that are available, fines, or items that are due soon. The library does not charge for this service, but a cell phone plan’s regulare text messaging rates do apply.
Ask our library staff for a copy of a brochure which provides directions for setting up this service.

Gingerbread House Workshop
Filger Library will be hosting it’s annual gingerbread house workshop on Dec. 9, 2010 from 4:00p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Children ages preschool through 5th grade are welcome to participate. Please register at the library, spaces are limited. We are asking for a $2 donation for supplies.
