Freedom Of Information Act (FOIA)

It is the intent of theFilger Public Library and the Board of Trustees

to comply with the Illinois Freedom of Information Act.  To this end they

have designated a library staff member as the library’s Freedom of

Information Act Officer.  The Filger Public Library is located at 261 E. 5th St.    All Freedom of

Information requests should be directed to the FOIA Officer at that address.

 A FOIA request form  available at the library.  However, other requests will be honored, but must

include contact information and adequate details of the information being requested.  The first 50

pagesof requested information will be provided free.
